Barn finds are free classic cars sitting derelict in sheds and outbuildings across Horizon Japan. You do not buy them, you find them, and the festival restores them into your garage. How barn finds unlock

Barn Finds become available as you earn stamps by progressing the discovery collections.

The 15 barns are split across 7 stamps, so they open in batches as you explore rather than all at once. A barn whose stamp you have not earned yet will not show up, no matter how carefully you sweep the area.

Once a stamp opens a barn, the game gives you a rumour, a search circle on the map rather than an exact pin. Sweeping that circle is the part players lose time to, because barns sit off the main roads, down farm tracks and along field edges. The screenshots on this page skip it. Each entry shows the spot to head for and links to the same marker on the interactive map, so you can drop a waypoint and drive straight at it.

Nothing here is time limited. Barn finds are not seasonal, so unlike Festival Playlist rewards they sit and wait for you. Collecting them also feeds your accolades, which pay out credits as you tick them off.

What is the best barn find car in Forza Horizon 6?
By raw Performance Index, the 1991 Mazda 55 Mazda 787B at 988 PI (R class) is the strongest car in any barn. Best for you depends on the class you race, and the 15 barn cars run from D class up to R class.
How long does barn find restoration take?
The car is towed back to the festival and handed over restored after a short wait rather than instantly. We have not timed that wait precisely enough to publish a number, so we are not going to invent one.
Can you miss a barn find in Forza Horizon 6?
No. Barn finds are not seasonal content, so unlike Festival Playlist rewards they do not rotate out. Once a stamp opens a barn it stays on the map until you go and collect it.
